On the Precision Positioning and Localizations in Various Engineering Applications

演講摘要：
In this presentation, three inter-related technical topics related to precision positioning in different applications are addressed. The first topic is on the Stage design and control for precision positioning. This could be useful for modern metrology and lithography related applications. The second topic is to address the vibration control and motion planning for flexible structures. This would be the fundamental for controlling stage designed addressed above. Finally, in the third topic, the indoor localization for mobile robots in intelligent life applications would be surveyed and techniques using wiimote IR LED sensing would be introduced.
