演講題目：Development of Clean Energy and Fuel for Industrial Applications
摘要：
With increasing global population and rising living standards, there has been a significant growth in energy demand worldwide over the last several decades. This leads to diminishing fossil fuel reserves, serious environmental pollution and high greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. To address these challenges, many efforts in developing renewable and green energy as well as alternative fuels have been carried out, and substantial progress has been made. In this talk, the efforts in the development of green energy and fuel will be introduced. Particular address is placed on the collaboration between our laboratory and industrial corporations (China Steel Corporation, China Petroleum Corporation, Taisugar Corporation) and research institutes (Industrial Technology Research Institute, Institute of Nuclear Energy Research).
