簡介

The University of Akron (簡稱UA)艾克朗大學是一所位於美國俄亥俄州艾克朗的公立研究型大學，為位於美國俄亥俄州的一所公立大學。它成立於 1870 年，最初是一所小型私立商業學院，後來逐漸發展成為一所綜合性大學。UA提供超過 300 個學士、碩士和博士學位課程，涵蓋商業、工程、教育、藝術、科學和健康等領域。該校在工程、護理、商業和教育等領域享有良好的聲譽。本系與The University of Akron, College of Engineering and Polymer Science於2022年簽訂雙聯協議。希望藉本雙聯協議的建立，鼓勵同學出國就讀、拓展學習視野。

雙聯學制

3+2學碩士雙聯學位 (大一~大三在中山，大四在(修碩一課程)，碩二在)，完成雙學制後，可獲得中山大學學士學位及UA碩士學位。

本雙聯計畫提供學生在大學四年級時以訪問學生進入UA，可同時修習碩士班及學士班課程(修習學分可抵用於中山學士班及UA碩士班)。大四下申請正式進入UA研究所。如通過申請，可將先前在UA修習之學分做抵免。因此同學可在3+2年內，取得國立中山大學學士及The University of Akron碩士學位。

 申請資格

申請UA學生: 本系大三學生，大一~大三在中山時平均GPA>2.5，大四於UA時GPA需高於2.75分或更高。

申請UA研究所: 本系大四學生且正於UA以訪問學生身分修習、成績達UA要求者

 英檢要求

IELTS 6.5/ 托福網路測驗(TOEFL iBT)達79分

 成績要求

-歷年成績須達GPA2.5以上，英語成績須達托福iBT:71分以上或雅思6.0分。

-隔年欲申請UA研究所者，於UA修習期間成績達GPA2.75以上，英語成績須達托福iBT:79分以上或雅思6.5分。

 修習路徑

3NSYSU+2UA: 學士第4年至美國UA研讀，取得中山大學士學位，之後在UA繼續為期1年的碩士學程，畢業後取得UA碩士學位。

 申請時程

每年3月向系上申請UA訪問學生，由本系提交薦送名單給UA。

隔年於1-5月向UA申請研究所入學。

1. 第一年: UA學費 $10,549約+中山機電系大四上、下學期學費

2. 第二年: UA學費 $15,013

 獎學金

具中華民國國籍者，第一年(訪問學生身分期間)可申請本校西灣領航獎學金，獎學金為每月1萬元生活費。
