Dr. Sheng-Yen Hsu completed his B.S. and M.S. degrees in 2000 and 2002 respectively at National Cheng-Kung University (NCKU) and National Taiwan University (NTU). After that he became a Teaching Assistant in the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering at NTU for two years. In 2004, he accepted the admission to the Ph.D. program in the Dept. of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) with Case Prime Fellowship and graduated in 2009. Before joining the Department of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering at NSYSU in 2011, he was a research associate at CWRU. His researches focus on fire safety, reacting flow modeling and combustion applications.
